MATISSE YELLOW WITH BROWN ENAMEL COPPER NECKLACE & EARRINGS PARURE/SET - TRUE 1950'S VINTAGE
1950's vintage mid century necklace & earring parure/set. Yellow and brown enamel, copper. Yellow enamel spattered painted with brown in an ombred effect. Necklace - Geometric shape links with center "fold" links (24) connected by small rectangular copper link. Brass spring ring clasp closure. Earrings - Corresponding link with fanned copper rectangles (corresponding to connector links at necklace). Clip backs. Marked MATISSE on earring clips. All original mid century era, true 1950's vintage.
Condition:
Excellent condition. Necklace shows some tiny bites to enamel... nearly imperceptible. Earring backs are original, tightly & neatly applied and secure but on inspection with jewelers loop show some small sign of glue, likely applied by a professional. (see photos)
