Sterling and rhinestone. Flower believed to be Wild Rose. Pavéd flower brooch - Openwork at center vein and curled back points at five concave petals. Large center stone. Safety at pinback. Matching earrings - Corresponding floral motif. Screw backs. Marked CORO CRAFT, STERLING on brooch back, STERLING on earrings. All original, true 1940's vintage. Marked: CORO CRAFT STERLING The brooch is inscribed "CoroCraft in Script / STERLING" in an oval plate This signature was in use from the second half of 1942 to the spring of 1944 (Ref: Vol. 1: American Costume Jewelry: Art & Industry, 1935-1950 by C.G. Brunialti & R. Brunialti, page 93). Approximate measurements: BROOCH Diameter - 2" EARRINGS Diameter - 7/8" Condition: EXCELLENT condition.
