1940's vintage envelope clutch handbag. Matte oxblood alligator, black leather and black faille. Phenomenal skins with outstanding scale patterning, plates & markings. Curved bottom envelope with graduated gusset. Full width, sculpted & pieced flap with fold back semi-circular snap closure. Front skins are gathered into applied geometric piece under flap. Wide strap handle attached by faux tortoise oval links. Flap, closure and strap faced with black leather. Black faille lining & pockets. This is a one-of-a-kind vintage bag... fine quality beyond compare!
