RARE! 1920's BLACK AND WHITE SEERSUCKER SUIT - BUCKLE-BACK & BUTTON-FLY TROUSERS - BROOKS BROTHERS
20's vintage three button single breasted buckle-back button-fly suit. Black and white micro check cotton seersucker. Fitted jacket with medium notched lapels. Long sleeves with deep machine stitched cuffs. Angled breast pocket. Two patch pockets lower with flaps. All original white plastic buttons, two at cuff. No vent. Jacket is self faced front, rayon faced back. Button-fly buckle back trousers. 2 5/8 inch wide waistband with belt loops. 11 inch self belt at back below waist with silver metal prong buckle. Coin pocket at right waistband seam. Side seam pockets. Button welt hip pocket. Vegetable ivory buttons. Rare summer suit from the 1920's brought to you from Brooks Brothers in New York.

Condition:
Very good Condition. Suit shows light age discoloration, slight soil, a few very small rust type marks and general light wear throughout. Jacket shows hand writing on label, two very small rust marks and three tiny weave repairs which are nearly imperceptible. These issues are minor considering vintage seersucker suits are rare, not to speak of one from the 1920's, over 90 years old.
