EARLY 1920s BLACK VELVETEEN JACKET WITH CREAM EMBROIDERY IN FERN MOTIF
Early 1920s black velveteen jacket with overall cream embroidery in leafy fern motif. Embroidery border motif makes a bold impact. The jacket has very simple lines yet with a complex embroidered statement. Chain stitch embroidery outlines the running stitch filler. Embroidered collar, notched plain lapel. Set in bell sleeve. Solid black border at hem. No closure. Black crepe lining.
